Yesterday was transition day for pupils across the school. Whilst the Year 6 were at high school, the current Year 4s (soon to be year 5s) came into Class 4 as part of their transition into a new class. The purpose of the session was:

On Thursday morning the pupils in Key Stage had a huge surprise: Mr Kendal and Mr Morgan from ASM provided them with an assault course and Tug of War competition. As a reward for excellent behaviour during Sports Day, they had the opportunity to develop and test their fitness levels, agility, strength, leadership skills and team work through a range of challenges and activities.
One Wednesday 20th June, all pupils at The Meadows participated in our annual Sports Day. This year, as a result of parental feedback, we changed to an outdoor venue and held it at Leycett Cricket Club. This proved to be a very popular decision - many parents enjoyed bringing along their deck chairs and picnic blankets to watch their children compete.
On Tuesday 19th June Year 5 attended a D&T Transition workshop, at Madeley School, run by Mr Mayers and Mr Hardy. The purpose of the workshop was:
Today pupils in Class 3 had the opportunity to celebrate Father's Day with their loved ones by sharing a special themed lunch. They had a delicious meal prepared for them and enjoyed chatting to their fathers whilst eating.
On Wednesday, 10 pupils from Y4 represented our school in a TriGolf competition at Onneley Golf Club. The pupils, who were primarily competing against Y5 and Y6 pupils from other local schools, had to complete a range of tricky golf activities in order to acrude points.
