One of the drivers behind our curriculum design is "Possibilities." We want our children to have high aspirations for the future and know how they are learning is useful in real life contexts. This includes inspiring our pupils to recognise future career possibilities. Throughout our ambitious and inclusive curriculum, we actively promote the characteristics of a learner in each subject and the careers where the knowledge and skills learn can be used.
We do this:
- at the start of every lesson through our Learning Hook
- at the start and end of each unit of learning
- First Careers assemblies
- community assemblies
- visitors
