Miss Sutcliffe - Class Teacher
Hello, I’m Miss Sutcliffe, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Meadows' team. I’ve worked with children from EYFS all the way up to young adults in a variety of settings, and I’m passionate about helping every child grow, flourish, and be the very best they can be.
I absolutely love being outdoors. In 2017, I trained as a Forest School Leader, and one of my proudest achievements was setting up a forest school alongside a colleague at my previous school. I’m excited to bring that same energy and enthusiasm to our outdoor learning here.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, walking, and exploring new places—especially with my dog Orla, who keeps me very busy at home! I also love kayaking, particularly at Alderford Lake and other scenic spots. One of my favourite places to visit is the Lake District—it’s like a home away from home for me and somewhere I spent a lot of time growing up. It’s a place that continues to inspire and recharge me.
My favourite colour is Forest Green, and when it comes to food, I can’t resist a classic steak and chips. For dessert, Pavlova is my absolute favourite.
At work, I’m passionate about building strong connections between the school and our wider community, and I’m keen to help raise vital funds to support our school’s growth and success. I’m also deeply committed to helping children thrive—there’s nothing better than taking them on trips, watching their confidence grow, and seeing their progress unfold over the course of the academic year.
Mrs Magee - HLTA
I have worked for the Meadows primary for many years. Both my grown up children also attended the Meadows too! As a teaching assistant and HLTA I am fortunate to work with children through out the early years and main school settings. Its just wonderful to see how they develop and progress! The meadows is a lovely community to belong to.
During my spare time I love to craft, walk my dogs and run! I also enjoy reading historical novels which has led to my other passion which is looking around flea markets.
In FUN (Fluency, Understanding and Number) in Class 3, our primary focus is the recall of the multiplication facts up to 12 x 12. This is a crucial skill that the children will require in their learning throughout their education. Below you can find a range of video resources we use in class to support their learning at home.
