Welcome Back!

I hope you have all had a fantastic holiday and are ready for the new academic year. I am sure that you have all grown considerably over the school holidays and have lots of exciting stories to share. This will be a very exciting term and I am thrilled to be teaching you this year and look forward to all of the new learning we will be doing together.

Welcome Back Class 4

As our new school term is due to commence on Wednesday, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back! I am very excited about teaching you all again this year (and some of you who have just joined us for the first time).

I hope that you have had a wonderful holidays and look forward to catching up on all of your news later this week.

If possible, could all children bring into school on Wednesday their outdoor PE kit which we will then use in the afternoon.

Many thanks,

Mrs K

Welcome

Hi all.

We would like to welcome the new reception class to The Meadows. I bet you are all very excited and maybe a little nervous too! We can't wait to see you all on Wednesday, looking smart in your new uniforms. We will have lots of lovely activities set out to play with and explore. All your new friends and your new teachers will be there to welcome you . We will have some tissues on hand for any tears, but from past experience, they are usually most needed by the mums!

My Maths Reminder

I hope you're all enjoying your last few days of the summer holiday! Just a quick reminder for Year 4 regarding My Maths. There are a few children who have yet to complete any of the My Maths activities. There are still a few days to get it finished, otherwise they will have to be completed during break times.

I am very excited to see all of your Stone Age research!

THANK YOU

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you from myself and Mrs Mitchell for all the wonderful gifts and messages. We were very touched! It is an emotional time at the end of the year when reception are moving on to class 2! There were a few tears on Friday! However the children are more than ready for the next stage of their adventure. They have been a wonderful bunch and it has been a privilege to see them grow and develop, all in their own individual unique way. Have a lovely Summer and we will see you ready to learn in September.

An Evening with Class 4

On Wednesday night we celebrated the Y6's final week with us in style by performing our class play 'Shrek', followed by a buffet and a disco.

The children excelled themselves in their performance. Previously, we had never managed to perform the play in under an hour and half, yet on the night it went quiet smoothly and we got the the time down to one hour!
