Investigating Bubbles at NULC

On Friday 6th March, Class 2 visited NULC to take part in a Science workshop.  The children were very excited to go inside the college and see such a big and modern building.  Their first surprise was that they had to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the laboratory.  Inside the lab the children looked around and saw just how different it was to their own classroom.  They did wonder if the skeleton in the corner was real?  The children investigated which type of washing up liquid made the most bubbles.  They had to measure the water and the liquid carefully and think about making the test fair.  After investigating 3 different types of liquid they all agreed that type A made the biggest bubbles.  At the end of the lesson it was revealed that this was Fairy Liquid.
