Chicks in Class!

On the 17th April, Mr Lovatt brought us some eggs in an incubator for us to care for and observe. We watched the eggs very carefully. 2 weeks later the chicks hatched out! The hatchlings were tiny and wet. They seemed very tired after hatching! It did not take long for their feathers to dry out. We loved observing how the chicks developed and changed.

We have thought of lots of adjectives to describe the new chicks.

"Fluffy" -Tilly

"Cute"- Zachary

"Sweet" - Isaac

"Yellow" - Freddie

"Black" - Harvey

"Soft" - Peter

"Noisy" - Henry

We are sad to see the chicks go back to the farm as we miss them!
